Making Of: “After” Winner of ‘Hello, Future’ Music Video Challenge

Two months ago, Vimeo along with Saatchi & Saatchi and Moby reached out to the Vimeo community with a unique and awesome opportunity. The task itself was simple: Take one of three new songs recorded by Moby and make a video to accompany it, interpreting the concept of “Hello, Future”.

Although we expected a solid turnout, we could not have envisioned the sheer number of entries we received and more importantly, the consistently outstanding quality of those entries. From a pool of almost 600 videos, ten entries were selected as finalists by a formidable jury that included BUG Music Videos, Vimeo’s own Jeremy Boxer, Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Board, and of course, Moby himself.

Now, it is with great excitement that I present to you the grand prize winner of the “Hello, Future” contest, Alberto Gomez for his video “After - Moby.”

In addition to having his video screened at the New Directors’ Showcase in Cannes, Alberto will have the opportunity to work on a project at one of Saatchi & Saatchi’s key offices within its global network. Not too shabby!
